Andrea Anne Weiss

Ms. Andrea Anne Weiss, age 75, of Pittsfield Massachusetts, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Andrea was born February 24, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Clark.

Andrea joined the Army at the age of eighteen. At twenty, she married Norbert Ronald Weiss, better known as Ron. They both enjoyed traveling through Europe. She spent six years in the army as a telegraph operator. She remained a wife to Ron, who was in the Air Force, until 1989, they divorced. From their marriage, a daughter, Vanessa Nikole Weiss, was born in 1980.

Andrea held various clerical and administrative jobs within the federal government over her lifetime, totalling over thirty years. She enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed having cats and birds over the years.

,Andrea is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her ex husband Ron Weiss, her devoted daughter, Vanessa Weiss Owens, of Cumming, Georgia; three wonderful grandchildren, Kadence Ella Owens, Dakota Wyatt Owens, and Branch Everett Owens and her four siblings.

The visitation will be held for Andrea Weiss in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home located in Cumming, Georgia at eleven o’clock on Monday, March 18, 2024. The graveside service will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024 at two-thirty at the Georgia National Cemetery located in Canton, Georgia.
