Ryan Scott Blasingame Profile Photo

Ryan S. Blasingame December 7, 1982 to June 11, 2023 age 40 of Jasper, Georgia.

Ryan was a diligent warrior in his 7 year battle with Carcinoid Cancer, never giving in or up. Ryan is survived by his Son, Dallas G. Blasingame (11); Parents, Donna and Anthony Allen Blasingame; Sister and Brother- in- Law, Felicia and Ryan Campbell; Nephews, Logan (11) and Liam (6) Campbell. Ryan was a student of life, loving to learn about everything, but history was his focus. His academic accomplishments were a BA of History from Kennesaw State University; Masters Degree at Georgia State, with the focus on the History of Science and Religion, and at the beginning of his illness; he was under full scholarship at Rutgers University, working on his PhD and in a Fellowship program. Ryan worked construction for many years as a student, going on to work for two environmental companies as a Historian and Assistant Project Manager here in Georgia. His favorite being Trileaf Corporation where he was last working and he loved the people. Ryan was born and lived the first half of his life in Southern Calif then moved to Georgia with his family when he was 20. He had a lifelong love of music. Writing songs and was proficient on multiple instruments, Ryan performed live and did professional recordings with five different bands of varying genres throughout his life. With all these accomplishments in life and many more, Ryan would tell us all his greatest accomplishment is the one that brought him such deep and pure joy, the one that gave him the strength to get up and fight his fight every day, his Son, his “#1” Dallas. No service has been set. In lieu of flowers Ryan set up an account in the Family Trust for Dallas’s future.
