Cheryl Lee Smith, 72, of rural Woodstock, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 13th.
She was born on July 30, 1951 in Duluth, Minnesota, and later moved to Florida as a child. During 1970 through 1972, Cheryl was privileged to have served as an Army Medical Corpsman at Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco providing care to our wounded soldiers returning from Vietnam, and at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas. While in Michigan, she was the managing partner in the family's business, Antrim Dells Golf Course. When the family later moved to Boca Raton, Florida, in the 80’s she juggled raising a family and working in the family’s then business, Boca Title.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, John W. Smith; her children, Aaron Smith, of Zurich, Switzerland, Jessica Nelms, of Alpharetta, GA, Sarah Hill, of Brooklyn, NY; her stepson, John W.
