Colleen Joy Schuyler

Colleen Joy Schuyler passed away suddenly at home on September 21, 2022 and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 62. Mrs.Schuyler was born in Chicago on August 19, 1960. Colleen is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Darrell Schuyler; Lovingly remembered by daughter Shavon Schuyler, of Chicago, IL; grandson Dylan Stangelandof Chicago, IL; son Joshua Schuyler and wife Sediqa, of Alpharetta, GA; daughter Erin Schuyler, of Blythewood, SC; brother Mike Rix and wife Jane, of Chicago, IL; their children Valerie Rix, Brian Rix, John Rix, all of Chicago, IL; sister Mary Rix and her daughter Kelly Rix, of Chicago, IL; sister Kathy Rix, of Chicago, IL; her children Katie Burley, of Woodstock, IL; Matt Nolan, of Joliet, IL; Alice Nolan, of Willowbrook, IL; brother Pat Rix and his wife Robin Rix: their children Nathaniel Rix; Nicholas Rix; Noah Rix (Batavia, Natalie Rix, all of Batavia, IL; sister Moe Quedens, of Lake Villa, IL; her son David Quedens, of Batavia, IL; sister Ann Hillertz and her husband Scott Hillertz, of Franklin Park, IL; their children Meghan Aranki, of Batavia, IL; Emily Hillertz, of Downers Grove, IL; Corinne Hillertz, of Downers Grove, IL; Joseph Hillertz, of Franklin Park, IL; brother Sean Rix and wife Marcy; their children Stephanie Rix, Amanda Rix, Christina Rix, all of Chicago, IL; brother William Miskovetz; his children Elizabeth Miskovetz, Kimberly Miskovetz, all of Colorado Springs, CO; sister Linda Falstad and husband Clarence, of Holland, MI; their children Eric Falstad, of Zeeland, MI; Nathan Falstad, of Chicago, IL; Valeria Falstad, of Chicago, IL; sister Mary Kuempel, of Barrington, IL; her children Katie Kuempel, Theresa Kuempel, Natalie Kuempel, all of Barrington, IL; Natasha Kuempel of Westminster, CO. Colleen dedicated her life to God, her family and her friends. Her life was filled with joy as each day was devoted to love above all. She will forever be with all of us. Colleen’s Celebration of Life was held at Messiah Baptist Church in Addison, IL on October 15, 2022.
