David Earl Durst

David Earl Durst, age 58, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

He was born October 3rd, 1962 to John Edward & Eleanor Durst in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the United States Army & Ohio National Guard for 13 years. He was a Boy Scouts of America Scout Master for 15 years.

David is survived by his wife, Ann Durst of Jasper; son & daughter-in-law, Matthew & Crystal Durst of West Des Moines, Iowa; son, Thomas Durst of Jasper & fiance Joyce Wodke of Jasper; mother, Eleanor Durst of Twinsburg, Ohio; grandchildren, Olivia Durst & Zachary Durst both of West Des Moines, Iowa; grandson, Michael Thomas of Green, Ohio; step-grandchidren, Sierra Baker, Joey Baker, Angelina Baker, Stone Keenan; brother & sister-in-law, John Edward & Sue Durst, of Twinsburg, Ohio; sister, Janet Durst of Twinsburg, Ohio; nephews, J.D. Durst & Steven Durst both of Twinsburg, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Durst, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at In Their Honor of Jasper on November 16th, 2020, times are as follows:

Visitation 2pm-5pm

Service will be held from 5pm-5:30pm

Visitation continues 5:30pm-6pm
