Debra J. Torgerson

On the morning of February 7th, 2023, Debra Jewell Wright Torgerson, 68, of Dacula, GA found rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Debra was born on September 21, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio to Vernon and Wilma Wright. Debra was a true Hero. She serviced in the US Army for four years, and held the rank of Specialist 4. She serviced as a member of military intelligence. Her duty station was Okinawa.Debra graduated from Morehouse State University with a degree in Journalism.  She was a talented artist along with her writing skills.She was predeceased by her parents, and brother Frank Wright (Teresa), and husband, Ron J. Crymes.Survivors include her husband, Marc D. Torgerson (Dacula), Son, Todd Wright, Sister Ginger Conlee (Tom) of Mt. Sterling, OH and brother Tom Wright, Orlando, FL.  She is also survived by her two grandchildren Zeke and Lucy Rose Wright. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18th, at 12Stone Central Campus in the Cornerstone Theater, 1322 Buford Dr., Lawrenceville, Ga 30043.
