Deborah L. Mabry

Deborah Lee Mabry, age 53, of Cumming, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home Monday, June 19, 2023. She went to sleep to wait for Jesus to call her name at his second coming. She was born on April 28, 1970 in Rome, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father Gary L. Smith. She is survived by daughter Delena Mabry: son Donovan Howell: mother Deborah Skaggs: sister Liz Smith: an uncle, aunts, nieces and nephews, Deborah graduated from Etowah High School and Kennesaw State University where she earned a Masters Degree. She taught school in the Gwinnett County School System before having her children and becoming a stay at home mom. Later she taught Special Education students in the Cherokee County School System. Thank goes to Accent Care Hospice for the wonderful care their staff provided. Memorial service will be 2PM, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at St. Clements Episcopal Church, 2705 Ridge Road, Canton, GA 30114.
