Denise April "Nise" Cook

Denise April “Nise” Cook, age 44, of Talking Rock, GA passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 1 PM to 5 PM at In Their Honor of Jasper Funerals and Cremations. Nise was preceded in death by her father Don Nelms. She is survived by her husband of 7 years Steve Cook; daughters Makenzie Tootle and Kelly Cook; mother Pat Nelms, of Mineral Bluff, GA; stepmother Kay Nelms, of Epworth, GA; sisters Janice Loudermilk and her husband Tommy, of Morganton, GA; Susan Nelms, of Blue Ridge, GA; nephew Steven; also survived by numerous extended family members and friends. Nise graduated from Fannin County High School, loved her girls (Tootle Bug and her Little Bird), her Southern Pride, riding Harley-Davidsons, trips to Helen, music, afternoon naps, and especially her dog Milo.
