To say Don was a boating enthusiast would be putting it lightly, he loved old wooden boats and enjoyed many float trips on the inter coastal waterways and the waters of the Florida Peninsula. Traveling, especially ocean cruising, was Don and Jean’s passion.
“When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only my smile.” Ellen Bailey
