Donald Caldwell

Mr. Donald Caldwell, age 87, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, Sept 10th 2024. Don was born on March 1, 1937 in Telfair County Georgia, the son to the late Clady Joe Caldwell and Velma Lucille (Hatfield) Caldwell. Don moved to Atlanta as a young adult, where he married the love of his life, JoAnn Pittman Caldwell. The marriage was blessed with one biological child, Randy Joe Caldwell, and 3 step children, Beverly Joe Duncan, Chrystal Lee Duncan and Ray Anthony Duncan, which he raised and loved as his own. Don and Jo loved each other and enjoyed sharing precious moments and adventures together. An avid fisherman and a lover of nature, He also loved to cook but Fishing was his passion, as he loved Fishing and gathering with family and friends. Don had a knack for connecting with people and he touched many lives. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Don is preceded in death by his five siblings: brothers, Sam Caldwell, Clarence "Bud" Caldwell, Billy Jack Caldwell, Junior Caldwell and sister, Mary Pauline "Sis" Caldwell. He is survived by his 4 loving children: sons, Randy Joe and Holly Ann Caldwell, Ray Anthony "Tony" Duncan; daughters, Beverly Joe Duncan and Chrystal Lee Duncan; grandchildren, Cameron Caldwell, Robyn Adkins Brock, (Travis Duncan) , Curtis Duncan, Cory Duncan, Cody Jenkins, Zack Jenkins, Rusty Jenkins, Nikki Martin, Christopher Martin, Tori DeSanto; great-grandchildren, Addyson Brock and Maleah DeSanto and many friends.

The visitation for Donald Caldwell will take place from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2024 at  Blessed Hope Church located at 11954 Cumming Hwy. Canton, Georgia 30115.

The funeral service to honor the life of Donald Caldwell will be at 6:00 PM following the visitation at Blessed Hope Church 11954 Cumming Hwy. Canton, Georgia 30115.
