Dora D. Wigley

Mrs. Dora Wigley, age 71 of Rome, Georgia passed away December 1st, 2022.

Her loving husband, Robert Wiley Sr. passed away a few short days later on December 4th, 2022.

Mrs. Wigley was born in Rome, Ga on August 10th, 1951 to the late Grady and Nancy Crunkleton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Dotson, James Dotson, and Lester Dotson; four sisters, Shirley Vassar, Betty Edwards, Nina Grant, and Rosie Childers; one grandchild, Summer Wigley-Edwards. Mrs. Wigley was a homemaker. She loved coloring, sewing, Captain D’s, the ocean, and her fur baby, Debbie. She loved her children and was a great mother.

Survivors include one daughter, Nina Edwards-Clayton; one son, Robert Lee Wigley Jr. (Lee Lee); one sister, Patricia Cox; three brothers, Burl Dotson, George Dotson, and J.R Dotson; three grandchildren, Caytlyn O’Neal, Alicia Edwards, and Robert Edwards; special cousin/best friend, Nolene Dotson-Pruitt; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

To honor her wishes, Mrs. Wigley was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
