This morning, my mom, Dorothy Lee Sinovic, woke up in heaven. Greeted by our heavenly father and many others including her daughter, Karen, grandson, Anthony, her sister-in-law Barbara, nieces, Rhonda, Robin, my mother-in-law Marie and many others.
Mom was a wonderful person. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Nick Sinovic. She had many interests including going to Angels games with my dad. She loved music and had many good times with the Aloha Strummers group in Mission Viejo. She was a long-time member of St. Killian's Church, participated in the Rose Society, The Elks Club, her Sorority Group and many other nonprofits throughout her years.
She was born in St. Louis Missouri, she lived over fifty years in Mission Viejo California and passed away in Georgia. She would have been 86 years old on Tuesday. Fortunately, we celebrated her birthday early and were able to read her lots of birthday wishes sent by many of you. My dad played her happy birthday and sang to her on the ukulele.
Dottie had been declining in heath the past few months. She passed comfortably in her sleep with dad just a few steps away. She lived a blessed life raising my sister and I, as well as her grandsons Timothy and Anthony. She was also loved by our family, my husband Derek and our sons Dillon and Shayne. She was very close to her brother Hal, nephew Mike, granddaughter Kylee and many others.
Nick, Derek and I will arrange memorial services for her in both Georgia and California at later dates. If you would like to send condolences, please message me for the address.
