Earl "Ej" Rich

Earl “EJ” Rich III, 38, of Douglasville passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones. EJ grew up in Acworth, a town he loved with friends who saw the joy he had to give; and he shared that every single day. He worked as a chef and a bartender for over 10 years and was a man who enjoyed the world. EJ will be dearly missed and always remembered for his quirky humor and never-ending jokes that would leave you laughing until you cried.

EJ was preceded in death by his sister Jamie Rich, grandmother Lou Yvonne Vollrath, and grandfather Raymond Vollrath. He is survived by his mother Rhonda Payne, grandfather Earl Rich, uncle Samuel Rich, aunt Patty Rich, and his three cousins Trish, BJ, and Christian as well as his nieces and nephew. EJ requested a celebration of life be held in remembrance as opposed to traditional funeral services. The celebration will be officiated by his uncle Samuel Rich and cousin Samuel Rich II.
