Elizabeth Vickery

Elizabeth Naomi (Durrance) Vickery age 85 of Jasper passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on November 28, 2023. She was a devoted Christian, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them making memories.

Elizabeth was born on March 14, 1938, to Albert and Louelle Durrance in Lakeland, Florida.

She was proceeded in death by her husbands Norman Vickery and Walter K. Gleason Sr., Son Walter K. Gleason Jr., Sisters Hazel Zeruk and Mary Pellitteri, Brothers James (Buddy) Durrance, David Durrance, Richard Durrance, Albert Durrance, Jerry (Ranger) Durrance, Neely Durrance, Grandson David Gleason.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Gaylene Gleason, sister, Sheran Whitaker, brother, Sammie Durrance grandsons, Tyler Gleason, Seth Gleason, Colin Gleason, Jon Page. Granddaughter’s, Jessica Matthews, Jennifer Page, Tiffany Page. Great grandsons, Jonathan Matthews, Zylar Gleason and Eli Andrews.

Visitation for Mrs. Vickery will be held Friday December 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the chapel of In Their Honor of Jasper Funerals and Cremations located at 481 Noah Drive, Jasper, Ga. Graveside Services will be held immediately following at Lake Forest Memorial Cemetery on Camp Road, Jasper, Ga. Procession will leave In Their Honor no later than 4:15 p.m. Service will be conducted by Preacher John Page. Pallbearers include Tyler Gleason, Seth Gleason, Colin Gleason, Eddie Ray, Louie Johnson, Brad Ward. Honorary Pallbearer is Zylar Gleason.
