Faye Smith January 18, 1948 - November 22, 2023, Jasper, Georgia - Faye Smith, affectionately known as "Mama Faye" by any child she ever met, passed away peacefully on January 18, 1948 - November 22, 2023 Jasper, Georgia - Faye Smith, affectionately known as "Mama Faye" by any child she ever met, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023 , at the age of 75. She was born on January 18, 1948 , in Jasper, Georgia, to the late Bonnie and Rev. T.D. "Dison" Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Tina McCallie Shooltz and husband Homer Anthony Smith. Faye will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.Faye had a giving soul and was always there to lend a helping hand. She had a passion for gardening and found solace in planting beautiful flowers, with the pink rose being her favorite. Her green thumb brought joy and beauty to her surroundings.Faye leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Smith (Jeff), Tammy Goss, Susan Crace (Thomas), and Rhonda Fair; her sons, James "Jimmy" Anthony Smith and Tony Benjamin Smith;Grandchildren, Mattie Goss Hollar, Desiree Patterson Bradburn, Sarah Shooltz, Brittany Shooltz McDaris, Ashley Smith, Summer Cheyenne Tinch, Lena Smith, Rocky James Fair, and Jon Dylan Tinch.Great Grand Children: Parker Hollar, Cayde Bradburn, Aubrey & Allie Gallman, Reagan & Cohutta McDaris, Kimber & Kain & Māori Fair, Gunner Tinch, Landon & Elijah & DJ Lambrix.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 , at 1:00pm at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia. Friends and family are welcome to attend the service, where Reverend Jon Page will officiate.Faye's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, generosity, and love for her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
