Fernando Alberto Caycedo, age 80, of Big Canoe, Georgia passed away on July 10th, 2022 at his home.
Funeral Service scheduled for Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the Big Canoe Chapel at 11:00AM.
Care and trust placed with In Their Honor of Jasper: 481 Noah Drive, Jasper, GA 30143.
His cremains (ashes) will be placed in the Big Canoe cemetery niche on July 23rd, 2022 as well.
Fernando was a retiree from being a nuclear engineer with Fluour Daniel Corp. He first moved to the states in the mid 60's with his wife and daughter, Pilar, coming from Bogota Colombia, South America. He studied mechanical engineering at Hofstra University in New York City, NY. His wife, Constanza Caycedo, and himself raised 2 children. They moved to Georgia in the early 70's where his son, Daniel, was born. His passions were golf and traveling. He designed his own home in Big Canoe and hired a contractor to help him with the construction to which his wife and himself enjoyed for over 30 years.
