Gwen Ware Carver, age 81, of Ranger, GA, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023.
Gwen was born on October 28, 1941, to Gordon and Stella Ware. On December the 5th, 1959, she married Vernon Carver.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents (Gordon and Stella Ware), sister (Syble Shore), and brother (Don Ware). Gwen is survived by her husband (Vernon Carver), brothers and their spouses (Harvey and Barbara Ware, Phillip and Sandra Ware, Freed and Betty Ware), children and their spouses (Anthony and Lena Carver, Eric and Sherry Carver, Deborah and Kevin Thomas), grandchildren (Annette and Blake Cannady, Ben Carver, Jacob Carver, David and Jen Carver, Georgia Lynn and Trevor Jones, Charity Thomas, Hope Thomas, Zeke Thomas) great grandchildren (Zane Griffin, Emilee Cannady, Cash Cannady, Zac Carver, Vera Carver, Ava Carver, Everett Carver, Olivia Carver, Flynn Jones, Asher Jones, Elias Jones).
Gwen was saved at the age of 11. She enjoyed reading her Bible, crocheting, sewing, tea parties with grandchildren and great grandchildren, and listening to preaching. She had read her Bible through a minimum of 52 times. She loved her Saviour Jesus Christ! Gwen was a member of The Philadelphia Church in Calhoun, Georgia.
Visitation will take place Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 12 Noon until 8PM in the chapel of In Their Honor of Jasper Funerals and Cremations: 481 Noah Dr. Jasper, GA 30143. 706-253-5060
The family will receive visitors from 1PM up until the 2PM service on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at Philadelphia Baptist Church: 358 Hensley Rd SE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
Burial will promptly follow after the service on family property.
