Jean Osora

Jean (Carron) Osora, 89 of Atlanta, GA, wife of the late Frank Osora, died Wednesday May 12, 2021 at home.

Jean was born in Westfield, MA, daughter of the late Arthur and Madeleine D. (Northrup) Carron.  Frank and Jean raised their family in Middletown where she stayed until moving first to South Carolina and eventually Atlanta Georgia to be close to her daughters. Prior to her retirement, Jean was employed as a machinist with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Middletown.   She and her husband Frank were avid polka dancers who enjoyed traveling the dancing circuit.    They taught dance classes for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Pius X Church in Middletown.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kathleen Osora of North Charleston, SC, Nancy Travis (Steve) of East Haddam, CT, Carol Lindsay (Jim) of Pawcatuck, CT, and Francine Osora of Atlanta, GA, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Jean was predeceased by her husband Frank, two brothers Arthur W. (Jimmy) Carron and Edward Nied, Jr. and grandson Tom Barberino, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
