Linda Day, of Taylorsville, GA, died at home on Sunday, February 18 at the age of 54.
She was born in Atlanta, GA in September 1969 to Joel Parris and Jean George. Throughout the years of her life her greatest characteristic was being an excellent caregiver. She did not care about a person’s background; she just knew if someone needed taken care of then she was the person to do it, and do it well.
Lynn was preceded in death by her biological mother Jean George, her father Joel Parris, her siblings Stephanie Parris, Tina Davenport, Ted Parris and Ned Parris and her brother in law Derrick Evans. She is survived by her daughter April Day, her son Joshua Day (Lauren), 4 grandchildren Rollins, Jeter, Sage,& Ripken Day, her mother Martha Parris, sister Selina Brock, Kimberly Evans Robinson (Greg) and brother Ronse Williams .
The memorial service for Lynn will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 24 at Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church in Taylorsville, GA with Rev. Rob Miller officiating.
There will be no personnel available at Reynolds Chapel to receive flowers, gifts, or donations so if you feel the need to send anything please reach out to Lauren Day for an address for delivery and we will make sure it arrives to the service.
