Linda Jean Mundy

Linda Jean Mundy, daughter of the late Haley and Rosa Mae Dorsey, was born November 10, 1946 in Thomaston, GA. She was united in holy matrimony to Kenneth Leonard Mundy Sr. (Butch) on July 3, 1974.
Linda accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior early in life and has remained a faithful Christian. She is currently a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Locust Grove and formerly an active member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Griffin. On Sunday August 14, 2022 Linda went to be with her Lord. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Haley and Rosa Mae Dorsey, her brothers Madison and Haley Dorsey, her son Michael Montgomery, and her grandson Taylor Mundy.
Linda’s loving spirit and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by those who survive her; husband, Kenneth L. Mundy Sr.; children, Timothy Montgomery, Jay Montgomery (Joyce Young), and Kenneth Mundy Jr. (Jessica); grandchildren, Darrell Montgomery (Amanda), Chad Montgomery (Dana Roer-Montgomery), Tony Montgomery, Tiffany Montgomery (Emily Schuler), and Robin Montgomery; great grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.
The friends and community of the Mundy family are invited to attend a memorial service honoring Linda Mundy on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Heritage Baptist Church, 1843 Peeksville Rd., Locust Grove, GA 30248 at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
