Michael Lee Dobbs

Michael Lee Dobbs, age 64 of Jasper, Georgia passed away peacefully Thursday, September 1st at his home. He was born on September 14th, 1957 to Hugh Lee Dobbs and Ollie Faye Dobbs in Marietta, Georgia.  He is survived by his wife, Debra Dobbs; daughter and daughter-in-law, Melissa and Brooke Wallace; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Isaiah Pike; grandchildren, Nathan Wallace, Sophie Wallace, Marcus Pike, and Easton Pike of Jasper, Georgia; mother, Ollie Faye Dobbs of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Janice Faye and Ferrell Sparks; brother, Richard Dobbs of Woodstock, Georgia. He is preceded in death by father, Hugh Lee Dobbs.

Mike and Debra were high school sweethearts. They were married for 48 years. Mike had a larger than life personality. To know him was to love him. He was always the one to keep everyone laughing. He was the heartbeat of his family, the laughter of his friends, and the love of all our lives.  He was an amazing husband, incredible father and grandfather.  His biggest fans and his favorite people called him Papa.
