Nancy Carter Daley

Nancy Carter Daley age 79, of Canton, Georgia ( Acworth, Riverdale, and College Park, Georgia) passed away Friday, August 20, 2021. Nancy was born Friday, May 29, 1942 in Baxley, Georgia to Larry Willis Carter, Jr. and Elizabeth Beasley Carter. Nancy lived in Baxley, Georgia most of her life and Miami, Florida where her daughter Michelle was born and raised. Mrs. Daley was preceded in death by her son Harold Dwayne Morris; brothers Roy Carter; Randall Carter; sister Nancy Carter Daley. Nancy is survived by daughter Michelle Daley and her life partner Ron Barker, of Canton, GA; grandson DJ Mills, III, of Canton, GA; granddaughter Jasmine Martin, of Acworth, GA; grandson Ronald Edward Barker, of Canton, GA; great grandson Steffen Gaub; brother Larry Willis Carter, Jr and wife Jody, of Jacksonville, FL; sister Debbie Baxley and husband Dennis, of Baxley, GA; Pat Taylor and husband Chris, of Baxley, GA; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends which were like family. Waffle House mentors Tina Woronko and Ladora Santoro; mothers of “Nana Babies” Erin McKinney; Brandie McKinney; Kim Barker “Nana Babies” she loved and cared for Breanna “Bre” Tramel; Tescina “Tess” Rogers; Devin Williams; William “Lilman” Allen Hering, Jr.; Earlier this year, Nancy lost her beloved dog Lady Bella. Nancy had several loves and hobbies, some include plants, Chinese Buffets, watching Golden Girls and As The World Turns, and most importantly nurturing, loving and caring for family. Memorial service will be 11AM, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Crossroads of Life Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia.
