Orlando Torres

Orlando Torres, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Jasper, Georgia, at the age of 82. Born on April 13, 1942, in San German, Puerto Rico, Orlando brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.

Orlando cherished his family, making every moment spent with them a treasure. He is survived by his devoted wife, Miriam Torres, and their son, Orlando Torres Jr. He welcomed Christina Torres, his daughter-in-law, into the family with open arms. As a proud grandfather, he doted on his grandchildren: Angel Torres, Khloe Torres, Alexander Hernandez, and Danielle Hernandez, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.

His passions extended beyond family as he enjoyed bird watching and listening to music, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and nurture his love for melody and rhythm.

Orlando's legacy is also shaped by the memory of his parents, David and Pilar Torres, who predeceased him, as well as his daughter, Lynn Torres, whose absence will be felt deeply by those left behind.

He will be remembered not only for the love he provided to his family but also for the happiness he shared with friends and the wider community.
