Penelope Louise Peppers born March 23, 1948 and passed on June 23, 2020. Penelope has lived in the Jasper area for 16 years and moved here from Sharpsburg, Georgia and preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Mamie Duke and her brother Jimmy Duke. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years Jerry D. Peppers, children Cindy Gates and husband Dave Gates, Shelly Peppers and husband Jimmy Berry, brother Bill Duke and his wife Carol. Grandchildren of Penelope include Hayley Willis and her husband Skyler Willis, Cotie Hoover, Tori McDaniels and her husband Tate, and Tyler Gates. Great Grandchildren include Emma Willis and Macie McDaniels.
Visitation will be held this Saturday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. and the memorial service will follow at our chapel beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The family has requested that any donations be made to American Red Cross or The Leukemia Society in lieu of flowers.
