Samuel Wayne Beavers, age 64, known to his friends and family as Sammy, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, in Jasper. His strength and courage during a long battle with cancer was an inspiration to his family and everyone who knew him. Mr. Beavers is survived by his wife, Deborah Beavers of Jasper; Mother, Zackie Beavers of Canton; Daughter, Martie Turner of Canton; Daughter, Brandy Cole of Canton; Son Jess Beavers of Canton; Step-daughter Maddison Stoner of Jasper; Step-son Mason Stoner of Canton, Sister Angela Lingefelt of Woodbury, Brother Barry Beavers of Bonney Lake, WA, Brother Clinton Beavers of Jasper. He loved his five grandchildren beyond measure: Aleah Cole, Reece Richards, Garrison Cole, Ellie Turner, and Vale Wayfrock. Preceded in death by Daughter - Ansley Beavers (2022). The celebration of life for Sammy will be on Monday, September 18th, at 10 a.m. in the pavilion of Fields Landing Park, with Larry Kelly officiating.
