Sandra Scarbrough "Sandy" Gober, age 73 of Big Canoe, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 9th 2022. Sandy was born May 23, 1949 in Lewisburg Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sociology and later obtained her nursing degree at Kennesaw State University and became a registered nurse. Sandy will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and caring personality. She enjoyed travel, holidays, and being with her family. Sandy is survived by her husband of 50 years Bill; her son David, daughter in law Ellen and granddaughters Lily and Kate. She was preceded in death by her daughter Chris and parents Jane and Ted Scarbrough. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Atlanta Cancer Society. A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 PM on July 16th 2022 at the Big Canoe Chapel in Big Canoe (226 Wolfscratch Circle, Jasper, GA 30143). Lunch will be served following a short service.
