Steven "Bubbaman" Moore

Steven Hugh Moore (AKA: “Bubbaman”) was born in Atlanta, GA on December 21, 1957. He passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Steve was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He would tell you that he spent his fortune on women, wine and song. One of his favorite sayings was "Bubba's just a stage name”. He was a genuine and kind soul who had friends from all walks of life. He never met a stranger and enjoyed "breaking bread" with his family and friends. He worked as Security Manager for Rocco's Pub in Jasper, GA for 11 years and was considered family to all those who worked with him. His contagious smile and outgoing personality was the life of every gathering he attended.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Lee Moore: father, Ralph Franklin Moore: and two brothers, Michael Thomas, and Doug Moore.

He is survived by his brothers, David Moore (Kristine) of Monticello, GA, Frank Moore of Virginia and Robert Moore (Cindy) of Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service will be 11am,  Monday, May 29th at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Tate, Georgia. Interment will follow at 2:30pm, Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 in Georgia National Cemetery of Canton, Georgia. A procession of cars and motorcycles will leave the funeral home at 1:30 SHARP. The family will receive friends from 10am til the service.
