Vivian Lewis

December 14, 1962 — February 26, 2025

Chatsworth, Georgia

Vivian Louise Lewis, affectionately known as "Candy" or "Sissy," passed from this world on February 26, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving a profound imprint on all who knew her. Born on December 14, 1962, in Wayne, Michigan, she embraced life with an indomitable spirit and an unwavering commitment to her passions, particularly her cherished family.

Vivian's educational journey culminated in a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, a testament to her dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Her career journey was punctuated by acts of kindness and compassion, mirrored in her personal life where her nurturing nature shone brightly.

She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, nurturing her beloved garden alongside her mother, Delores “Faye” Lafferty. The fragrance of blooming flowers and the satisfaction of cultivating growth were but reflections of her character—fertile with love and warmth. Vivian also delighted in baking with her grandchildren, crafting confections that not only tantalized the taste buds but also created lasting memories. Each Halloween, her creative spirit transformed into tangible forms as she sewed costumes that brought smiles to the faces of her loved ones. For Vivian, life was an expedition of joy, and she made it her mission to ensure the world around her was "peachy keen."

Her legacy is carried forth by her loving mother, Delores; her cherished children, Justin Propst (Sara) and Christen Davidson (Dustin); as well as her stepchildren, Robinson Lewis (Holly), Christine Lewis, and Tyler Lewis (Dayna). The laughter and love of her grandchildren—Elan, Kylee, Jace, Scarlett, and Amelia—will serve as everlasting reminders of her vibrant legacy. Vivian is also survived by a multitude of loving cousins, aunts, and uncles who were blessed to be a part of her life.

Vivian's departure leaves a poignant void in the hearts of many, particularly amongst those who mourn the loss of her husband, Jerry Lewis; her father, Woodrow Lafferty; her grandson, Draven Propst; along with countless other aunts and uncles who have passed on. However, in the tapestry of her life, there exists a vibrant thread woven from love, laughter, and cherished memories, and it is by this thread that Vivian Louise Lewis will forever be remembered. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, guiding them with the same love and kindness she so generously shared throughout her life.

At this time there will be no funeral service. A memorial will be held later this year and information will be sent out to family and friends when that is set.
