W. L. Wilson

W. L. Wilson, passed away on December 24, 2023 at his home in Jasper, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Wilson and his mother, Ada Wilson. Mr. Wilson is also preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Bertie Cantrell, Cleo Garrison, Jack Wilson, Joye Wilson, Herbert Wilson, Betty Sue Parton and Lois Cantrell. Mr. Wilson has one surviving sister, Pauline Hightower, along with nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Jeremy Wilson, Clayton Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Blake Wilson, Trenton Wilson and Roger Mulkey.

Public visitation will start on Wednesday, December 27 at 11:30 am until 7 pm. Second public visitation will start on Thursday, December 28 at 11:30 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Sun Rise Memorial Gardens, 1530 W. Church Street, Jasper, Ga.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Georgia Mountain Hospice 706-253-4100, 70 Caring Way, Jasper, Ga 30143. Family has asked that no food be brought to any of the visitations or funeral.
