William “Billy” Hurschell Acree, at age 70, passed away September 9th, 2021 from complications to Agent Orange exposure while serving the country he loved during the War in Vietnam. Billy was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, Company A, 75th Infantry, Cavalry Division. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, two Bronze Service Medals, and the Bronze Star.
Later in life, Billy enjoyed his work as a commercial truck driver, seeing the country he loved. He captured the sights and people he knew through his love of cameras and photography. A collector of the ordinary, always in search of the “daily deal”!
Billy’s presence will be missed by his loving family and friends. And especially Mary, his devoted and caring companion over these past difficult years.
Goodbye dear one. “On the Road Again”, along the “Big Ole Highway”!
